Over his approximately 25 year career in advertising, Hamish has developed creative for just about every possible product category. He has been a creative director of his own agency, and won enough creative awards that he doesn't pay much attention to them any more. A significant increase in client sales makes his heart pound a lot louder.
His clients have included many well-known high tech companies, high–end retailers, several of British Columbia's largest developers, and a number of sports and outdoor related businesses. In addition, Hamish has developed major branding campaigns for Bell West, White Spot, Syngenta Crop Protection, and Save On Foods.
His philosophy on consumers and advertising is simple. Given a superior product with a clear consumer benefit, advertised in an intelligent, compelling and memorable way, most people would rather be checking out Seinfeld reruns. So we better make sure that anything we do is really, really good.
